hey, thanks for getting in touch. Do you use Flash or Toonboom, any of them kinda programs? Thats what I find myself using mostly these days, though I do storyboards most of the time now. =0)

I'm only beginning to re-acquaint myself with Flash CS3 but I usually animate in Photoshop CS3 and After Effects (actually my preferred medium is ink on glass hence Pshop making up for it). Technically that makes it compositing moreso than anything else. ToonBoom Solo didn't quite do what we needed back at college heh. I'm horrible in Flash - something about the lack of lucidity ... but I'm getting there! I use Illustrator for designing vector layouts as I'm faster doing those with a mouse for some bizarre reason.

odd that you are more comfortable in Illustrator than in Flash, but we all find some medium that appeals to us.. right now, I have to start learning toonboom storyboard for an upcoming project, and find it lacking compared to Flash- and too damn expensive for all it is, too.

Probably because I have more experience with Illustrator and find it less picky than Flash :) Hope ToonBoom storyboard is treating you well ~ ToonBoom is a horrible expensive software for any country...it's like AUS$5k here for one licence. That's the cost of the entire Adobe suite right there...
